Precious Memories

A friend/business cohort who organizes events/special occasions and tons more (http://www.thepinktearose.com) posted on yesterday looking for tutu makers. I only normally make tutus for my girls and for the bow holders that I sell but I contacted her asking what exactly she was looking for, and she informed me of the passing of a friend's/soror's daughter who had lost the battle against her ailing little body and finally let go of mom's hand and is now holding tightly to God's.

Of course this hurts my heart because the baby that we lost was only 3 years old and my very own baby girl is 3 years old. So of course when she told me that they wanted a tutu and a set of hairbows(because her mom kept her little pretty in bows and decked out) for the service I was very obliged to offer my services.

I got this request on yesterday and went tight to work and worked well past 3 o'clock this morning to complete the tutu and the pieces for the bows, which isn't uncommon for me because after bedtime for my girls is when I get most of my work done but I wanted to make sure that they were done in time for the service.

So I now present to you the most precious tutu and bow set that I have made to date, and I hope that they bring a tad bit of sunlight into the family's lives and hearts as they relish in the thought of the free-spirited little angel that has gone home to be with the Lord.

Please keep this family and friends in your prayers!

Thank you for looking.

  2. It wasn't my idea but I am very pleased to be able to do it. It's only a small token of my condolences but it's what I could offer besides words and hugs *shrugs*
